The Best Happy Hours Near Me in NYC

New York City offers many restaurants, bars, and attractions – one of its hallmarks being happy hours that offer unbeatable food and beverage deals.

Happy hour during the weekday is your opportunity to find discounted Spam musubi and affordable espresso martinis at deeply discounted prices.

Ama Raw Bar

Ama is an iconic seafood restaurant and bar featuring an Asian raw bar, named in tribute to Japanese free divers who explore ocean depths for pearls and seafood. The dimly lit space lures guests in with its neon amber bar and sensuous mural. Happy hours provide ample lychee martini opportunities before late nights can bring guests in for cocktails while sampling bao buns, shucked oysters, or seafood towers from its backroom bar.

Menu highlights at this restaurant include lobster ramen, crispy rice tuna, and edamame. In addition, the restaurant offers complete bar services, a speakeasy-style lounge in the back room, and outdoor seating – perfect for group dinners and private events with very reasonable pricing and delicious food!

The Grey Dog

The Grey Dog Coffee House is a neighborhood coffeehouse that prioritizes small joys that can often get lost in big-city living. Inspired by Moose and Goose, its namesakes Labrador Retriever dogs, this cafe offers breakfast, lunch, sandwiches, and a full selection of coffee & tea for guests to enjoy. Their staff are warm and friendly, while their food is divine! My favorites are avocado toast and breakfast quesadilla; dessert options include cobbler and fruit & french toast parfait – not to mention excellent coffee quality & very reasonable pricing!

Cask Bar and Kitchen in Murray Hill is another fantastic neighborhood spot. Their rustic-chic ambiance, friendly bartenders, and great happy hour specials (specific drafts for $7 and cocktails at $10!) make for a delightful dining experience – plus, there is Sunday brunch service!

13th Step is an elegant Lower East Side bar that attracts students and locals, perfect for pregame gatherings or just lounging with friends. They offer cheap drinks in a welcoming environment – perfect for making new connections or getting tipsy!

Night Inn offers an unforgettable evening experience, from wine tasting and food pairings to cocktail making and expert chefs and bartenders with experience at Michelin-star restaurants – plus special discounts for group bookings! They’re open late with plenty of drinks available. Not to mention their reasonable pricing and a great selection of wines!

Groove

Groove Bar in Greenwich Village offers live R&B, funk, and soul bands every night of the week. Enjoy traditional and contemporary tunes as well as open mic nights with classic bar food such as burgers, fries, and mozzarella sticks on offer from its menu. Ticket pricing requires two drinks minimum, with cash being the only payment accepted here; be sure to arrive early to secure a seat!

Musicians frequently refer to “groove,” yet many find it hard to explain beyond “something that makes music sound good.” The origin of this word comes from vinyl records: musicians “ride” their grooves much as a needle would physically travel between tracks on an album record. Being in sync with the rhythm of the beat can only come through getting into the groove: any attempt at playing ahead or behind will sound off and create instability in your playing style.

An exceptional drummer will know how to deliberately place hits in front or behind the beat, creating an entirely different sound from simply not hitting on time. Additionally, great drummers utilize syncopation techniques in their music for added interest and flavor.

Mister Paradise

Mister Paradise bar in East Village has quickly become a favorite destination for upscale drinks and hearty Caribbean food. It features a chic atmosphere with red booths and walls surrounding its bar area. Their well-balanced cocktails boast vibrant flavors such as gin and rum, while there’s also an excellent wine selection – the ideal setting for romantic dates and groups of friends!

Will Wyatt of NoMad Hotel bar fame co-founded this bar, where its cocktails take their names from popular culture references. His menu pays homage to movies and TV shows from across periods – featuring ingredients like garlic and fermented habanero for its cocktails such as Fredo’s 666 Hell Sauce, Party Lobster, and Cougar Magnum – so all fans of pop culture should find something they like here!

Mister Paradise features an eclectic cocktail program with amusing names incorporating severe culinary techniques. Their most recent creation, Corn Ultimatum, is an irresistibly delicious blend of bourbon, genever, roasted corn, peach nectar, and parmesan tincture – not to mention delicious new dishes like fried chicken tacos and coconut curry mussels on their menu!

Bar Aux Folies is ideal for relaxing after a hard work day. Friendly service and reasonable prices make this bar ideal for enjoying a night out with family or friends – during happy hour; you can purchase frozen margaritas at only $10! Open weekdays 4 pm-7 pm.

Mister Paradise bar in NYC’s Lower East Side serves sultry drinks with an intimate speakeasy feel, offering everything from gin to rum. A great place for leisurely conversations in NYC!

The Rum House

The Rum House is one of the city’s finest spots to stop for a quick drink and bite to eat, located in a building built during the 1850s and built as part of an old-world charm experience. Enjoying beer or whiskey here is a much richer experience than going to an everyday modern bar.

At this classic East Side spot, you’ll find it perfect for casual drinks with friends. The atmosphere here is friendly and enjoyable; happy hour offers some of the cheapest drinks! They also have delicious food options like calamari, flatbreads, and mac and cheese.

This classic dive is a favorite among college students, offering affordable drinks in an easygoing atmosphere. Plus, beer pong at the bar! During weekdays, you’ll enjoy half-off menu items and specials on specialty drinks like the sour gin fizz!

West Village bar with an under-the-radar Jamaican theme offers one of NYC’s best happy hours between 4-8 PM Wednesday through Saturday between 4 to 8 PM; customers can get two for one on beer, wine, and sake from 4 to 8 PM as well as enjoy delicious jerk chicken or pork sliders!
